Why Should You Use Google Travel?

In this article, I’ll go over some of the best features of Google’s Flights, Hotels, and Trips, including Price guarantee. You’ll also discover how to save and pin places you’d like to visit. These can serve as your “to-do” list while you’re on vacation. So, why should you use Google Travel? We’ll answer that question and more in the next section. But first, let’s take a closer look at each feature.

Google Flights

Google Flights makes it easy to compare the prices of flights. If you know where you want to go, you can choose from the options listed under the destination. You can also set up alerts to receive emails whenever prices go up or down significantly. To set up an alert, you must be logged into your Gmail account and you must choose a destination, city, and up to five flights. After entering the details, you will be notified of the price change or increase.

You can search for cheap flights with Google Flights and then choose the airport nearest to you. If you want to travel in economy class, you can find the cheapest one-way tickets by using the departure and arrival airport. Keep in mind that round trip tickets are often more expensive than one-way tickets, so travelling both ways in economy class can reduce your overall travel costs. Alternatively, you can use the search feature to compare prices of several airlines and their prices.

Google Hotels

The success of your hotel listing on Google Hotels is not merely about the number of clicks you get, but also about customer affinity and CTR. Your hotel’s ranking is not determined solely by the price you pay, but also by its value, the number of reviews, and its competitive offer. When a prospective guest clicks on your listing, the confirmation email will contain your hotel’s free cancellation policy. A property that offers this benefit often has a higher conversion rate.

You can also use Google Hotels to generate traffic by advertising your hotel. This metasearch engine gathers hotel search results from multiple sources to provide a better overall comparison than OTA sites. Search results display paid and organic results, and you can filter by location, price range, and more. Google even integrates with Google Maps, allowing you to see a hotel’s exact location. The site also offers direct booking options, and a website display option.

Google Trips

When you use Google Maps to find nearby places to visit, you can easily find the exact locations of the bookings you’ve made. This new feature will help you find everything you need to know in one place. It’s now easier than ever to organize your trips, thanks to Google’s new “Reservations” tab. Simply sign in to your Gmail account and Google will parse through the details in your emails to find the most relevant ones.

For those with flexible travel dates, Google offers a feature that lets you select the best time to visit a certain location based on the weather and price range. Simply input your travel dates and see the weather forecast, crowd size, and prices. When you’re ready, you can choose from your saved places, or add more places to your itinerary. If you’re going to a new location, don’t forget to save the information for your next visit!

Price guarantee

If you’re planning to take your next vacation, you should check out Google’s new travel price guarantee. You can get a full refund if you don’t find a cheaper flight, up to $500, within the specified time frame. The price guarantee is only available for flights between August 13 and September 2 and is valid until November 24, 2019. You can monitor the price of an eligible flight until it departs, and if the cost drops, Google will give you the difference.

To claim your payout, you need to have purchased your tickets on Book on Google between Aug. 13 and Sept. 2. The difference must be at least $5. To qualify for the payout, you must have purchased your travel through Google within the Price Guarantee Window. The price difference must be based on base fare, and it excludes ancillary fees, change fees, and taxes. Once you have purchased the ticket, the price will change automatically and Google will send you an email confirming the price difference.

City search

If you want to plan a trip, you may want to use the city search function on Google travel to compare prices of flights between several cities. This is especially helpful when booking international flights, as you can compare prices of several different destinations and decide which one is more affordable. The results of your search will be presented in the “Explore” tab, so you can compare prices based on price, point of interest, and your personal preference.
